About me
Alison Vallenari, Xi Prime, 2013, has a deep love for the MSOD community and has served on the MSOD Alumni Council as Conference co-chair, Executive co-chair, and mostly recently, as Careers co-chair. She founded her own firm, Alison Vallenari & Associates, which specializes in leadership development, culture change, team effectiveness, strategic planning, and executive coaching. Alison is also a Certified Alignment Practitioner, and has two Master’s degree from Arizona State University, in addition to her MSOD from Pepperdine. Her MSOD thesis was focused on “Improving Effectiveness in Non-Profit Boards.” Alison is committed to continuous learning in her own life and is actively working to decrease her unconscious bias, while increasing her advocacy and ability to become more anti-racist. Alison is unbridled in her love for her husband, Michael, her four kids and five grandchildren. She has an unquenchable desire to travel and currently has plans to spend five weeks in Central America this fall and another five in Europe next spring to celebrate her family.
